The STEAM Academy’s National Honor Society came together to volunteer for some “spring clean-up”

On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, The STEAM Academy’s National Honor Society came together to volunteer for some “spring clean-up”.  Under the advisement of Coach Brogan and assisted by teacher, Jessica Pizzuti, the students cleared out the courtyard outside of the school’s cafeteria. The students spent hours pulling up paving stone, laying out a new walkway, clearing out debris, and pruning bushes. They will continue working on this space to transform it into a tranquil area where students can safely gather.

The students also spent some time on the track and field cleaning that up as well. They raked up leaves, removed large tree branches, and picked up trash. The STEAM Academy looks beautiful.
