  • A few pre-K 4 program seats are still available

The Mount Vernon City School District Universal Pre-K program has only a few spots remaining in its pre-kindergarten 4 program this school year. The program offers either virtual or in-person learning. The program is led by the district, which also provides devices and supplies. It is also free, meaning there is no financial burden on parents and guardians. The full-day program provides students with more instruction time, which gives them a greater opportunity for success in school. Students must be 4 years old by December 1, 2020 (no exceptions) and be residents of Mount Vernon.
