  • Board of Education Special Meeting - 5-23-2022

    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the Mount Vernon Board of Education will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022, beginning at 6:30 p.m. via ZOOM. The purpose of the meeting is to meet with legal counsel. It is anticipated the Board will act on a resolution to adopt the revised budget. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the District Clerk (914) 665-5235.   • A Message from the Board of Trustees - May 4, 2022

    Tonight, at our regularly scheduled meeting of May 4th, the Mount Vernon Board of Education will formally approve three resolutions to address a transition in district leadership, effective immediately. Dr. Waveline Bennett-Conroy, the district’s current Assistant Superintendent for School Improvement, will be appointed Acting Superintendent through June 30, 2022. She will become the Superintendent of Schools on July 1, 2022, with a contract that is three years in length.
