Edward Williams School students enjoy show, hoops game thanks to PBIS Rewards program

At Edward Williams School, good choices get noticed and celebrated.

Guided by administrators Gregory Casey and Tiffany LeFever, the school’s PBIS Rewards program has become a daily invitation for students to show PAWS Pride and see where positive behavior can take them. 

And lately, it has taken them somewhere quite special.

In early January, a group of Pre-K and kindergarten students discovered just how magical kindness and self-control can be when they earned a surprise trip to “Disney On Ice: Mickey’s Search Party.”

With tickets generously donated to the school, the youngest learners — along with their families — were treated to a memorable live show that felt straight out of a storybook.

The very next day, several fourth-graders saw their own hard work pay off with an incentive trip to a Brooklyn Nets vs. LA Clippers game. Joined by one of their teachers and their families, students cheered, laughed and shared an experience they’ll remember long after the final buzzer.

Back at school, the celebration continues every day. Through the PBIS Rewards platform, students earn PAWS Points they can spend at the school store, The Den, turning everyday positive choices into meaningful rewards and experiences.

At Edward Williams, PAWS Pride signifies commitment in the school and in oneself, acting kindly, working hard and demonstrating self-control.
