Traphagen School students create artwork after reading 'Gift of Words'

Ann Marie Gilligan's second-grade class at Traphagen School enjoyed reading the book "Gift of Words" by Peter H. Reynolds. After the read-aloud, the students created word trees by selecting words that hold special meaning to them and their families. This activity encouraged them to make personal connections to the text, celebrate their unique identities and share what matters most in their lives. The word trees are now proudly displayed in the classroom, showcasing the diversity and creativity of our learners.
