RTA students celebrate Woman's History Month by highlighting famous women in history

Last Friday, Rebecca Turner Academy male students collaborated with school social worker, Samori Pennant, to do an event for the female staff in the building in honor of Women’s History Month. Six male students read monologues, highlighting the stories of famous women in history.

Students also spoke about their thoughts about these women, their contributions, and the overall significance of Women’s History Month. The female staff engaged with these male students, providing them with feedback on the stories shared.  Food and beverages were served to all participating faculty and students.
