RTA continues "Preparing for Your Future" series with healthcare panel discussion

Rebecca Turner Academy continued its "Preparing for Your Future" series with a visit from the Director of the Westchester County Association/Workforce Development program on Thursday, March 20, 2025. This series, led by School Counselor Jennifer Goire-Peralta, aims to expose students to the various academic and trade programs that await them!

The goal is to help students find their calling, develop the appropriate goals and roadmaps to achieve their calling, and utilize resources to obtain a college degree and/or trade certification directly leading to employment.

During this panel discussion, RTA students connected with different healthcare professionals and learned about the plethora of pathways within the growing field. Many students expressed interest in careers such as pediatric nursing, radiology tech and healthcare administration.

“With this newfound partnership, students have a direct pipeline to success,” said Mrs. Goire-Peralta, “The staff at RTA remain committed to ensuring all students succeed! Many thanks to program Director, Jason Chapin and his Westchester County Association/Workforce Development team for believing in our students and providing them with much needed opportunities.”
