MVHS students at Nursing Assistant Program and Skills USA Club support blood drive

Students in the Nursing Assistant Program and Skills USA Club at Mount Vernon High School supported the New York Blood Center’s blood drive on Friday.

They assisted donors and monitored them to ensure that they were feeling well after giving blood.

Not only are students gaining valuable experience in a medical setting, but they are also supporting an important cause.

Each donation of blood can save up to three lives, and students played an important role in the success of the drive.
