MVHS ACE students get a taste around the world during Hispanic Heritage celebration

Mount Vernon High School Academic and Career Exploration (ACE) students immersed themselves in Mexican, Colombian, and other Hispanic cultures on Wednesday morning during the school's Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.

​At the event, students had the opportunity to experience a taste of the world by trying different foods and creating artistic masterpieces, such as papier-mache flowers. Participants received a passport to stamp each country they explored and learned about during the event!
