High honor roll and honor roll students recognized at MVHS

Last week, proud families gathered at Mount Vernon High School to celebrate an outstanding accomplishment of their child earning honor roll during the first quarter of the 2025 - 2026 school year. 

The ceremony started off with a word from Principal Dr. Pauline Pearce, commending students for their hard work and dedication. She also acknowledged the vital role parents play in their children's education. 

Families wrote messages to their children, expressing their love and support. Many messages sent congratulations and words of encouragement. Families also took advantage of the photo booth, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Career and Technical Education Culinary Arts students crafted pastries and treats for attendees to enjoy during the event.
