Student Ambassadors Shine in Pre-K Classroom

Student Ambassadors Shine in Pre-K Classroom

At Nelson Mandela/Hosea Zollicoffer Elementary School, we are proud to celebrate the dedication and kindness of three remarkable students from Ms. Vetere's 4th-grade class. These students have taken on the role of student ambassadors, going above and beyond by sacrificing their recess time to make a positive impact in the Pre-K classroom.

Every day, these young ambassadors diligently set up nap time beds for all 18 Pre-K students, ensuring each child has a cozy and comfortable space for their afternoon rest. Their efforts don't go unnoticed, as they consistently demonstrate kindness, support, and a helping hand to the Pre-K teachers and students.

These students serve as exemplary role models for our younger learners, embodying the core values of empathy, responsibility, and leadership. By prioritizing the needs of the Pre-K students over their own leisure time, they teach the importance of selflessness and community service. Their actions inspire the younger children to emulate such positive behaviors, fostering an environment of mutual respect and cooperation within the school.

Through their actions, our student ambassadors are not only making a significant difference in the day-to-day experiences of the Pre-K students but also setting a powerful example for what it means to be a compassionate and considerate member of our school community. Their leadership in action encourages all students to strive for excellence and to contribute positively to the lives of those around them.
