Lincoln School celebrates St. Patrick's Day and greenhouse fundraiser by wearing green
The hallways of Lincoln School were filled with hues of green on Friday, March 15, 2024, as students and staff wore the color to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and the "Go Green for the Greenhouse" fundraiser.
Students raised money for supplies which will be used to launch the planting season in the school’s greenhouse. Next week, students and teachers will begin cleaning out and preparing the planting beds in the greenhouse.
Over the next few weeks, students will be sowing seeds and cultivating plants and flowers. They will learn about the growth cycle of different plants as well as participating in hands-on experiences by taking care of the plants and their needs. The Lincoln School community is looking forward to a bountiful harvest.
