Project RISE wraps up for the 2024 - 2025 school year at Grimes
Scholars at Grimes School were treated to a video game truck to commemorate the ending of one of their mentoring programs, Project RISE on Friday, May 23.
Project RISE aims to foster young people's mental health and empower them by providing a secure environment for them to heal and form healthy relationships with their peers and loved ones. The program also encourages youth to explore their voice as they start to develop personal life paths.
“I would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr. Cornelius for allowing us to work with your students at Grimes,” wrote Quintele Carmichael, Program Director. “It takes a village to guide the youth in the right way, and I am glad that we have started this journey together. I'm looking forward to the new school year again.”
