Bingo! Literacy night is a win for Graham School families

Graham School turned reading into a full-house celebration during its Family Literacy Bingo Night on March 26, when students and families came together for an evening of wordplay and merriment. Organized by Parent Liaison Veronica Graham and Title I Coordinator Mrs. Strozza, the event blended literacy skills with classic bingo fun. As words were called, students stepped up to the microphone to spell them, offer rhymes or use them in sentences, building fluency and confidence in real time. Students collected prize baskets and showed off their best dance moves on the way up, adding energy and excitement to the night. A special appearance by the Easter Bunny, who joined families at the photo booth and on the dance floor, made the evening even more memorable. Beyond the games, the event reinforced a larger goal: helping families feel confident and equipped to support reading, writing, speaking and listening at home. With interactive activities that can easily be repeated beyond the classroom, Graham School continues to strengthen the partnership between school and home one word at a time.
