Dr. Natasha Hunter-McGregor serves as acting superintendent for the day

Graham School Principal Dr. Natasha Hunter-McGregor served as the acting superintendent for the day on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. She was the seventh administrator to participate in Acting Superintendent Dr. K. Veronica Smith’s Superintendent for the Day series.

“The experience was phenomenal!” said Dr. Hunter-McGregor. “I am beyond grateful to Dr. Smith for her vision and the opportunity to serve in this role. The day was filled with support from District staff, colleagues, and community members.”

Throughout the day, Dr. Hunter McGregor greeted District staff and engaged in professional conversations to address student and staff needs, summer school programs and special education projections for the 2024-2025 school year. She also checked in with each principal to ensure support for their school community.

Dr. Hunter McGregor’s motto is, “Be Responsible, Respectful and Ready to Learn... Be of Great Character!" She also operates with the slogan, “On behalf of children first,” at the forefront of her mind, and she had the same mindset during her day as acting superintendent.
