A 15-year-old Mount Vernon High School student was stabbed at the basketball court at Benjamin Turner School shortly before 4 p.m. today. The student has non-life-threatening injuries to his back and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. The school has been closed this week as students are on spring break. Police are actively investigating the incident.

She has worked in finance and accounting for over three decades and has years of knowledge and experience that have prepared her well to lead the Business Office.
