Mount Vernon City School District Visual and Performing Arts Production Calendar
View upcoming dates for visual and performing arts productions in March 2025 at the Mount Vernon City School District:
- Thursday, March 6: Denzel Washington School of the Arts Band Night at 6:30 p.m. ($10 in advance, $15 at the door)
- Friday, March 7: Grimes School Black History Month Performance at 9:15 a.m.
- Saturday, March 15: Denzel Washington School of the Arts will have Dr. Cornel West speak at 6:30 p.m.
- Friday, March 21st: Mount Vernon High School Spring Fling Dance at 6:00 p.m. (Theme is pastel paradise)
- Friday, March 21st: Denzel Washington School of the Arts Gospel Music Night at 6:30 p.m. ($10 for students and seniors with ID, $15 in advance or $20 at the door)
- Friday, March 28th: Cecil H. Parker School Women's History Month Assembly at 9:30 a.m.
- Friday, March 28th: Mount Vernon High School empowH.E.R. event from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 28th: Denzel Washington School of the Arts Dance Showcase at 6:30 p.m.

The Lower Hudson Regional Partnership Center and Family and Community Engagement Center (FACE) are hosting a Zoom training for families about the transition from preschool to kindergarten for students with disabilities. Please take notice, the Mount Vernon City School District will hold Superintendent’s Conference Day on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and it will be an early dismissal for students. The printed calendar, which lists the date as March 12, is incorrect.
