Infinite Campus: Student information system

Please see the instructions below on how to create your new Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. To begin, click the following link: Parent Portal Activation (Please note Infinite Campus Portal works best in the Google Chrome browser.)  If you did not receive your access code, please contact us via email at smcgarty@mtvernoncsd.org

1. Enter your Activation Key (check your email for activation code) 

2. Create a Parent Username and Password (The username should not contain any spaces. Please write down your username and password for later use.) 

3. Click Submit 

4. Click on Back to Login 

5. Enter your Parent's Username and Password 

6. Click Log in 

7. Please bookmark this link for future Parent Portal Access:  Mount Vernon Parent Portal 

Once you set up your account, please ensure you update your contact information in demographics.   

If you forget your username or password, it can be reset directly by Infinite Campus by clicking on "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password." You should now be on the Parent Portal and be able to see your student(s) by clicking "Today" on the left side of the screen. Infinite Campus also offers a Mobile Portal App for parents. The mobile app can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

PRC Workshops

Please note - The Chronic Illness, Loss, and the Impact on Your Child workshop scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2025, has been postponed.

The Job Search Essentials Workshop for parents will be held in the Parent Resource Center (PRC) at Mount Vernon STEAM Academy on Thursday, January 30, at 9 a.m.

Parent Involvement Day flier

The Mount Vernon City School District is holding its 28th annual Parent Involvement Day at all schools on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This day is a special opportunity to take your child to school, visit their classes, meet and speak with other parents, and hear from administrators, teachers and specialists. 

Subsidized Bus Passes

The Mount Vernon City School District is offering subsidized Metro Cards for $145 per semester, half of the full price of $290, for all grade 7-12 students. The Metro Card is only valid on Bee-Line buses, not MTA. Cards are valid for five months, September through January and February through June. Cards are valid Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with up to four trips per day.
