Infinite Campus: Student information system

Please see the instructions below on how to create your new Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. To begin, click the following link: Parent Portal Activation (Please note Infinite Campus Portal works best in the Google Chrome browser.)  If you did not receive your access code, please contact us via email at smcgarty@mtvernoncsd.org

1. Enter your Activation Key (check your email for activation code) 

2. Create a Parent Username and Password (The username should not contain any spaces. Please write down your username and password for later use.) 

3. Click Submit 

4. Click on Back to Login 

5. Enter your Parent's Username and Password 

6. Click Log in 

7. Please bookmark this link for future Parent Portal Access:  Mount Vernon Parent Portal 

Once you set up your account, please ensure you update your contact information in demographics.   

If you forget your username or password, it can be reset directly by Infinite Campus by clicking on "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password." You should now be on the Parent Portal and be able to see your student(s) by clicking "Today" on the left side of the screen. Infinite Campus also offers a Mobile Portal App for parents. The mobile app can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Special Meeting of the Mount Vernon City School District Board of Education will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Education Center, 165 North Columbus Ave., Mount Vernon, NY 10553. 

Members of the public may view the meeting LIVE on our website or Facebook.

MVCSD SEPTA Meeting on Wed., May 20, 2026 at 5:30pm at Graham School.

The Mount Vernon City School District Special Education PTA will host a meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at Graham School. Join to discuss important topics, share ideas, and help guide the future of SEPTA for the benefit of all students and families. Your voice makes a difference! SEPTA is also seeking nominations for board members for the upcoming school year.

The Mount Vernon City School District’s draft proposed budget for the 2026-27 school year will be presented from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, at Hamilton School, by Superintendent Dr. Demario Strickland. Please attend to learn more about how the District plans to invest in its schools in the upcoming year, provide feedback, and ask questions about the budget. The presentation will also be livestreamed on our Facebook and website. The annual budget vote and school board election will be held on Tuesday, May 19

In-person half day - Friday, May 22

Please take notice that all schools in the Mount Vernon City School District will be open for a half day of in-person instruction on Friday, May 22, 2026. The date was reinstated as a school day due to closings from inclement weather in order to help the District satisfy New York State Education Law requirements for minimum days of school. Please adjust your calendars accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Annual School Board/Budget Vote Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; for the purpose of electing three (3) members of the Board of Education of the City School District of the City of Mount Vernon, New York, to serve for a full term of three (3) years, beginning the first day of July, 2026, and expiring on the thirtieth day of June, 2029.

Mount Vernon City School District Summer Programs July 6 to July 30: Enrichment Camp (Grades K-6 and Grades 7-8) July 6 to August 14: Extended School Year (ESY) August 3 to August 13: Bridge Programs (Grade 9) July 6 to August 13: High School Credit Recovery & Regents Prep August 18 to August 19: New York State Regents Exams

The Mount Vernon City School District is pleased to announce that this summer, we will be hosting a Summer Enrichment Camp from July 6 -July 30 for our students in grades K-8. Your input is important to helping us plan the summer program.  Please answer the survey here and spread the word to other parents.  The survey will be available until the end of the day on Friday, May 8, 2026.
