Gift Card Drive to support families affected by fire
The Mount Vernon City School District is holding a gift card drive to support families affected by the fire on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Help make a difference in our community by assisting these families who lost everything. Please assist by donating a gift card of any amount.
Please donate gift cards to grocery stores, department stores, retail stores, Visa/Mastercard, etc.
Drop off site: School building designee or Daffodil Graham at the Education Center, 165 N. Columbus Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10553.

Safety Protocols Update
Dear Mount Vernon Community:
April 11, 2023 is a day that we will not ignore. What our students and staff at Hamilton School experienced that day was very unfortunate and scary. We are implementing changes to ensure this does not happen again. Safety plans at each school are being reviewed and implemented.
