PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Regular Business Meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at The Board of Education, 165 N. Columbus Avenue, Mount Vernon, NY 10553.

The meeting will be open to public comment.
Speakers must register in advance, by no later than 12 noon, the day of the meeting, by contacting the District Clerk in person (165 N. Columbus Avenue, Mount Vernon, New York), by phone (914-665-5235), or by email (rjames@mtvernoncsd.org).
Comments about meeting topics and agenda items will be accepted at the email address MVBOEMeetings@mtvernoncsd.org. Parents, students, and community members can voice their concerns, opinions, and questions during and after meetings using email.
The meeting will also be available for playback on the district Board Docs website.

All students interested in playing fall sports should make sure they have an up to date physical. You may go to your own physician, or physicals will be offered at the high schools. Athletes must do their physical at the school building they will attend in the Fall.

Mount Vernon Recreation Department’s Summer Basketball Clinic: July 6 to August 14 at Mount Vernon High School. Sessions are 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
