Bus price cut for 7-12 students with district subsidy

The Mount Vernon City School District is subsidizing half the cost of Bee-Line MetroCard student bus passes for students in grades 7-12. The per-semester cost has been reduced from the regular $290 to just $145.

The cards may be used Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for up to four trips per day. Students purchase the passes for five-month periods (September-January or February-June). Cards are valid on Bee-Line buses only, not MTA buses.

If interested in purchasing a pass, contact Daffodil Graham in the Superintendent’s Office between 2 and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday at dgraham@mtvernoncsd.org or 914-665-5202.
