Parent Teacher Associations

The Mount Vernon PTA Council, and its seventeen individual school PTA and PTSA units, serve as forums for exchanging ideas and as a venue for advocating for children. The PTA units’ mission is to make every child’s potential a reality.

The Mount Vernon PTA Council is a member of the Westchester East Putnam Regional PTA, the New York State PTA and the National PTA. These organizations are dedicated to improving and expanding educational opportunities for children and public education by working with families and the community.
