Testing Information - High School
Over the course of the year, students will be taking the College Board PSAT/SAT, College Board Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and New York State Regents exams. The results of these state assessments are used to:
- Help parents understand their children's academic progress.
- Assist teachers in evaluating how well students are grasping the material being taught.
- Enable school, district, and state education leaders to identify what is working well and what needs improvement.
- Allow stakeholders to recognize any achievement gaps that may be emerging among different student populations.
- Determine graduation status and college entrance

- Wednesday, October 29, 2025: MVCSD PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test - Eligible 11th Grade); High School

- Wednesday January 28, 2026: PreACT® 8/9 (MV STEAM ENTRANCE TEST); Grade 9 High School.
