What are your post-graduate plans (i.e., college, workforce, etc.)?
After graduation, the plan is to go to college where I will be studying psychology.
Which Mount Vernon schoolteacher has influenced you the most, and why?
I would say Mr. Browne because even though he was just a math teacher, he went above and beyond for all his students no matter what. He was willing to sit down and talk about anything from schoolwork to the boy you liked and that’s why so many of us grew a bond with him.
What is your favorite memory from your senior year?
My favorite memory was that I made it to senior year, even though it got cut short I was happy to just have the experience and be able to say I finished high school.
If you could tell your freshman self-one thing, what would it be?
One thing I would say is that you must step outside your comfort zone. Try and find new things that fit you. Don’t stick to the standards just because.
How would you describe the Class of 2020?
The Class of 2020 was a dedicated class. Yes, we were all looking forward to all the senior things like prom and stuff, but honestly, we were all just trying to make sure we graduated and got into college. It was an important step for most of us.
