What are your post-graduate plans (i.e., college, workforce, etc.)?
My post-graduation plans are to attend Broome Community College to study Human Services and then transfer to a four-year college and study social work and receive my bachelor’s degree.
Which Mount Vernon schoolteacher has influenced you the most, and why?
Mr. Browne was one teacher who influenced me the most because he always motivated me to do better and was always an ear to listen whenever I needed to talk. Mr. Sgobbo was another teacher who influenced me also because he taught me a lot of lessons about the real world and opened my eyes to many things.
What is your favorite memory from your senior year?
My favorite memory from my senior year was definitely my senior pictures because I finally felt like I had accomplished something and it made me realize I was on to do better things in my life.
If you could tell your freshman self-one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell my freshman self one thing it would be to not let others influence who I am. I’m my own beautiful and intelligent person and to never think otherwise.
How would you describe the Class of 2020?
I would describe the Class of 2020 to be a very determined group of people, we were all hit with so many different challenges throughout high school but we never let that stop anything. We’re all great hardworking students.
