What are your post-graduate plans (i.e., college, workforce, etc.)?
I plan to attend Lehman College in the fall of 2020 for two years. After the time period of two years I’ll be transferring to a technology-oriented school to enroll in a five-year program to get my master’s in Computer Science.

Which Mount Vernon school teacher has influenced you the most, and why?
The Mount Vernon High School teacher that influenced me the most would be Mr. Marolla. Although my career interest is more technology based I’ve always shown a great interest for literature and the battling of concepts. Mr. Marolla has shown my fellow students and I what it means to think critically.

What is your favorite memory from your senior year?
I would say my senior year in general felt more like one big moment, with not much room to consider which individual moment stands out more. Considering the current epidemic it’s difficult to say what it would be.

If you could tell your freshman self-one thing, what would it be?
I would tell myself to stay vigilant and to develop coping mechanisms for changing times. The ability to maintain your resilience and patience is important in attaining even the minutest of goals.

How would you describe the Class of 2020?
I would describe the class of 2020 as head strong and probably very unfortunate, considering what they’ve experienced thus far.
