What are your post-graduate plans (i.e., college, workforce, etc.)?
After graduating high school, I plan on going to the University of Connecticut and completing my undergrad there, getting my bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. Later, I would get a job working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnological company working on how foods, vitamins, minerals, and drugs affect the brain.

Which Mount Vernon schoolteacher has influenced you the most, and why?
The schoolteacher that has influenced me the most would be Mrs. Robbins. She was an amazing teacher and all-around excellent person. She constantly helped many students and myself whenever we were struggling in the topics of math. She always found ways to help students and communicate with them.

What is your favorite memory from your senior year?
My favorite memory from senior year would be the first day of school and seeing all my friends and people that I know again for the final year of high school.

If you could tell your freshman self-one thing, what would it be?
If I could tell my freshman self one thing it would be to always look towards the future but to not be anxious about it because everything usually falls into place if you put in the work.

How would you describe the Class of 2020?
I would say that the Class of 2020 is a very unique class, a class where there are students who will become leaders, inventors, and innovators. I would describe the Class of 2020 as strong-willed.
