Mrs. Paccetti joined the Mount Vernon City School District in 1999. Since beginning her tenure with the District, Mrs. Paccetti has taught at Traphagen and Graham Elementary School, where she currently serves as a Pre-K teacher. During her time with Mount Vernon, Ms. Paccetti has taught students in Pre-K through grade 3.

Born and raised in Mount Vernon, Mrs. Paccetti received her early elementary education from Pennington Elementary. Her mother also worked as an elementary school teacher in the District and inspired her to pursue a career as an educator.

“I had so many influential teachers during my time as a student in Mount Vernon, and now I am able to give back by helping create a love for learning in the next generation of students in the District,” said Mrs. Paccetti. “I love the families and communities here, and the most rewarding part of my job is seeing my students’ growth and inspiring them to get excited about learning.”

Mrs. Paccetti received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. She went on to receive a master’s degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport, and recently graduated with distinction from Mercy College, receiving a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration. Mrs. Paccetti was inducted into the Phi Delta Kappa honor society at Mercy College and the University of Bridgeport for her academic excellence. She is also certified in Reading Recovery.
