Mrs. Wall, formerly Ms. Bidosky, has been a teacher in the Mount Vernon City School District since 2013, when she was hired as the Early Literary Specialist Teaching Assistant at Longfellow Elementary School, which is now Rebecca Turner Elementary School. For the past four years, Mrs. Wall has served as the full-time Early Literacy Specialist at Edward Williams School.

As the Early Literacy Specialist, Mrs. Wall provides students in kindergarten through second grade with academic intervention support (AIS) in the areas of literacy.

Mrs. Wall completed her undergraduate studies at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y. where she double majored early childhood education and special education. After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degrees, went on to receive a master’s degree in literacy, focused on children from birth through Grade 6.

“The best part about being a teacher is being surrounded by children,” said Mrs. Wall. “The relationships that I have with my colleagues and my students provide so much positivity, which drives me to be my best self.”
