"The Sun Always Shines Over Parker School"
| |
The above motto captures the philosophy of our school. The sun always shines over our students, parents, faculty and the broader community that we serve in many wondrous ways. Every morning we affirm our love and care for each other. We view that all individuals deserve our respect and kindness. The sun shines through the good works and deeds of our pupils, parents, faculty and community on a daily basis.
No matter if it rains, sleets or snows, our parents are assured of courteous and efficient assistance whenever they visit our school. A pleasant and eager office staff takes pride in its ability to service parents' needs. This approach adds to positive and harmonious communication between the home and school.

Children are also assured every day that they will receive love, care, and respect from the school faculty. We display a keen interest in the academic and social growth of our children. Our scholarly efforts are focused on excellence. Teachers and staff give willingly of their time and talent to make Parker a prosperous place for children. Our students' test scores outshine many of their peers in our state. Another evidence of this is that pupil attendance is at an all-time high, and far exceeds the state standard.
Faculty and staff feel that their efforts on behalf of children are appreciated and valued. This is accomplished through open communication and ongoing support from the school administration. The result is a more delightful and stimulating work environment for all. The sun shines through their many daily accomplishments.
The broader community also enjoys a sense of pleasant cooperation with our school. In an ongoing effort to extend its relationship with the community, school officials have visited local churches, tenant associations, and civic groups. The school continues to be available to spread its message of care to all community members.
